English–Vietnamese interpreting for focused professional communication
Plan English interpreting for meetings, partner discussions and specialist work with a clear agenda and reference materials.
Business discussions and working meetings
English–Vietnamese interpreting supports exchanges where participants need to understand proposals, questions and decisions. Explain the meeting’s purpose and the roles of the participants.
Send the agenda and any presentation or background documents. Names, figures and defined commercial terms are easier to handle consistently when provided in advance.
Technical visits and training
Site visits and equipment training require preparation beyond general conversation. Supply product names, relevant manuals and the expected sequence of activities.
Clarify site access, protective equipment and safety arrangements with the organiser. Technical questions should be directed to the responsible specialist; interpreting conveys the discussion without replacing technical approval.
Online and on-site arrangements
For an online session, confirm the meeting platform and audio requirements. For on-site work, provide the address, schedule and contact person who will coordinate the interpreter’s arrival.
Discuss speaking turns, session length and any breaks as part of the programme. Changes to the date, subject or venue should be communicated as soon as possible.
Quotation and confirmation
The brief should include the language direction, subject, duration and preparation needs. Document translation, travel or specialist equipment should be specified separately where required.
Tri Viet will review the request before confirming availability and the proposed scope. A submitted enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
What to include in your enquiry
Send the complete source or a representative sample, the source and target languages, and the intended use. Identify the current file versions and any passages that are outside the translation scope.
Add your deadline, preferred delivery format and approved reference material. If the work involves layout, confirmation, testing or another additional task, state it explicitly so the quotation covers the required output.
Questions before you begin
Is translating slides included in interpreting?
Not automatically. Tell us whether you need translated slides or handouts as well as interpreting, so the quotation and schedule cover both tasks.
How is the price calculated?
The quote depends on the language pair, source volume, specialist subject, file quality, formatting and requested delivery. Send the actual material so these factors can be assessed.
Can I request a specific deadline?
Yes. State when you need the translation and share the complete source. Availability and delivery timing are confirmed after reviewing the scope; an enquiry alone does not confirm a booking.
How should I share confidential documents?
Discuss confidentiality, access and any required agreement with the team before sending the complete sensitive material. A non-sensitive sample can help begin the scope discussion.
